28 days is
not a month.

Comparing two renewal prices without the billing cadence can understate the real difference.

Count the payments due

A 28-day prepaid plan renews after four weeks. From a chosen start date, the next charges occur 28, 56 and 84 days later. A monthly plan renews on calendar-month anniversaries. Over a 365-day window a 28-day plan normally has 14 charges, while a monthly plan normally has 12. The exact dates, and any promotion eligibility, matter.

The comparison tool starts from your selected date and counts every charge due before the end of day 365. It shows the charge count beside the sum so you can inspect the arithmetic.

Compare like with like

Our budget filter applies to the ordinary renewal price. If a plan is discounted for one recharge, that first charge enters the total, but it cannot make an otherwise unaffordable regular price pass the budget filter. For data, the required minimum must still be available after a bonus ends.

What the total leaves out

Optional data top-ups, roaming, premium calls, future price changes and any eligibility you do not meet are not included. A quoted offer can end before you activate. Check the live provider page and its Critical Information Summary immediately before purchase.

A first-year amount is a transparent calculation from documented prices, not a guarantee of what a provider will charge in future.
