Boost publishes several promotional data allowances and each one is bounded by a number of recharges. Reading the promotion as a monthly allowance is the most common mistake, because the bonus runs out first and then the ongoing amount applies.
The promotions as published
| Recharge | First recharges | Bonus data | Ongoing data |
|---|---|---|---|
| $39 | first 6 recharges | 60GB | 30GB |
| $49 | first 6 recharges | 75GB | 45GB |
| $59 | first 6 recharges | 105GB | 55GB |
| $74 | first 6 recharges | 150GB | 100GB |
That is six recharges at the promotional amount. On a 28 day cycle that is about five and a half months of elevated data, after which each recharge drops to the ongoing figure.
The two long-expiry promotions work differently
- The $180 promotion gives 160GB on the first recharge for new activations, then 100GB from the next recharge.
- The $300 promotion gives 290GB on the first recharge for new activations, then 240GB from the next recharge.
Those two are a single elevated recharge rather than a run of six, so do not carry the mental model across.
The deadlines attached to the promotion
The provider states the promotional bonus data requires activation by 2 Nov 2026, with remaining recharges by 5 Apr. A promotion you activate late has fewer recharges left in it, which is the real cost of starting late.
What we could not verify. Where a provider has not published a figure we mark it unknown rather than estimate it. Re-read the provider page linked below on the day you decide.
