A year-long recharge is the largest single payment most prepaid customers make, and the smallest renewal decision. By the time you get to the end of the term the price you locked in may no longer be the price you would get today.
What a 365 day recharge buys
| Recharge | Data | Expiry |
|---|---|---|
| $130 | 80GB | 365 days |
| $240 | 240GB | 365 days |
| $300 | 150GB | 365 days |
Those three rows come from three different provider tables. The shape is consistent: you pay once, the credit sits on the account, and it is consumed over the year.
The commitment you are actually making
- The full amount is spent up front, before you have used any of it.
- Unused data only carries into the next cycle under the rollover rules of that provider.
- The price is fixed for the term you bought, but the next term is priced on whatever the provider publishes at that time.
This is the same trade-off a postpaid contract makes in the opposite direction: a year plan is cheap per month precisely because you are locked in.
What we could not verify. Where a provider has not published a figure we mark it unknown rather than estimate it. Re-read the provider page linked below on the day you decide.
