TPG Mobile sells four SIM only plans on a rolling month to month basis. The Critical Information Summary sets out the pricing, the bundling condition and a long exclusions list, and it is the source for every figure below.
The four plans
| Plan | Upfront / minimum monthly charge | Included data | Excess rate |
|---|---|---|---|
| SIM Only Small | $20 | 12GB | $0.0016 per MB |
| SIM Only Medium | $25 | 25GB | $0.0010 per MB |
| SIM Only Large | $30 | 45GB | $0.0007 per MB |
| SIM Only Extra Large | $40 | 60GB | $0.0007 per MB |
The first row of each column is the upfront minimum monthly charge. The excess rate falls as the plan rises, so the per-MB figure alone will mislead you in both directions: Small is the most expensive per MB and the cheapest to enter.
The bundling discount and its condition
The summary publishes a second set of monthly charges for customers who bundle: $20, $25 and $30 for Medium, Large and Extra Large, with Small shown as not applicable. The condition is explicit: the discount requires the mobile service to be linked to an existing customer active TPG broadband service, and if that broadband service is inactive for any reason the standard monthly charge applies. A discount that depends on another service staying active is not a discount, it is a condition.
Term and early termination
The service is supplied on a rolling month to month basis and a customer may terminate at any time, but forfeits any prepayments already made. The early termination charge is shown as not applicable on all four plans. So the cost of leaving early is not a penalty fee, it is the unused balance you already paid.
Excluded usage
The plans exclude excess data, calls to international numbers, SMS and MMS to international numbers, calls to satellite phones, third party content, video calls to standard and international numbers, international roaming, directory assistance and other enhanced services. Calls and SMS to 19 numbers, diversion to international numbers, premium SMS and premium MMS are not supported at all.
